NEW YORK, NY - On the heels of Broadway legend P!NK being announced as this year’s Tony Awards host, The Broadway Beat has been given an exclusive first look at her opening number, which will blend her deep catalog of pop-rock anthems with some of the evening’s shows and stars.

In addition to plugging Marjorie Prime star June Squibb, P!NK is also expected to rhyme “You are perfect to me” with “The Fear of 13”; “Raise your glass if you are wrong” with “Star of Oedipus, Mark Strong”; and “Just give me a reason, just a little bit’s enough” with “The first Broadway revival of Proof,” which only works if you pronounce Proof wrong?

She will also pay tribute to this year’s badass women on stage, including Becky Shaw, the cast of Liberation, and the Queen from Bug. She will do aerial silks with John Lithgow.
