NEW YORK, NY - Tony Award-winning performer and known hip hop mogul Patti LuPone has announced the release of her new diss track called “Meet The Webbers.” The Broadway Beat was able to get an advance copy of the track to share a few lyrics:
Dear Norma
I’m sorry that that man wrote your story, let me pose
I was perfect for the role, it wasn’t Close.
It might sound like I think your story might be cruel
I won’t even worry about it while I’m lounging in my Webber pool.
While Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber could not be reached for comment, it is rumored that he’s working on a new musical in response called Everything Goes.
