EXCITING! Jordan Fisher is One Leading Male Role Away from Winning This Sick Razor Scooter

Jordan Fisher (Andrew Rose) NEW YORK, NY – Some kids win prizes by selling candy for their school, but Broadway’s Baby Boy Jordan Fisher doesn’t need fundraisers when the prizes he gets for collecting roles are just as rad! 

“So I’ve just been cast in my fifth professional leading male role, Christian in Moulin Rouge! And, as we all know, when a tenor gets his sixth leading role, he wins the highly-coveted Razor A+ Lightshow Kick Scooter with top-quality steel construction and motion-activated LED lights!” Fisher told us, teeming with excitement. Ahead of his achievement, we sought out tales of glory from more of musical theatre’s favorite little guys. 

First, we caught up with six-time male lead and former Christian in Moulin Rouge!, Derek Klena. He gave us an interview in exchange for the Throat Coat from his lunch. 

“When I got Fiyero, I won a really big Spongebob plush. Like this big– “ Klena held his arms as wide as they would go, “–and I thought it couldn’t get any cooler than that. But then I got Sunset Boulevard, and let’s just say I got to ride to the Kennedy Center in style.” 

While Klena represents Fisher’s future, we also wanted to dive into his past. His second Broadway lead was the title character from Dear Evan Hansen, famously originated by Ben Platt who, despite having a fruitful career, has only led two Broadway shows himself. We were able to chat with him after his vibrato practice. 

“The prize for two leads is a Whoopie Cushion. It’s so dumb,” Platt murmured with a pout and misty eyes, kicking at the ground. After receiving an encouraging-yet-stern nudge from Noah Galvin, Platt straightened up and spoke louder. “But it’s kind of cool, I guess. Beanie [Feldstein] says I have to be a good sport about it. Can we get ice cream now?” 

But what comes after the Razor scooter? What happens when you’ve led more than six, eight, or even ten shows? Well, we decided to track down tenor legend, Aaron Tveit, and find out.

“I’ve kind of lost count. A skateboard, rare Pokémon cards, a Nintendo DS…” he mused from his perch at the top of the jungle gym. “But I’ll let you in on a little secret: If you’ve played Jack Kelly, you jump straight to XBox. It’s so unfair.” 

Jeremy Jordan has declined to comment, but we hear he has like, three XBoxes. God, he’s so cool.
